Hopper Events - Red Ribbon

Hopper Elementary School celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 22-26. Students and staff joined thousands of schools around the country to stand up for a drug free America. Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country and is used to spread the message about the dangers of drug use.
Students participated in "theme" days and received Red Ribbon stickers to promote drug free awareness. Week long classroom activities included placing a red ribbon around a tree in the school yard, shading out drugs by wearing sunglasses, wearing blue for drugs give you the blues, putting a cap on drugs by wearing a cap and wearing red for the finale of Red Ribbon Week.
