Classroom Rules:
- Be on time.
You will be counted tardy if you are not in the room, seated, ready to
work when the bell rings. You should sharpen your pencils before
class begins.
-
Bring materials.
All materials should be brought to class every day. Materials
include your textbook with a cover, a binder with five dividers, a
pencil, a red pen, a highlighter, and paper.
-
Follow directions.
Listen the first time
instructions on what you are to be doing are given. Use class time
wisely. If you finish your assignment, work on something else or
read. Wasting time is not allowed.
- Be respectful.
Show respect toward your teacher as well as the other students in the
class.
Assignments:
Students
will have homework in math most of the days of the week. Assignment sheets
will be placed in the notebooks and the student is expected to write down
the daily assignments. Grades are also recorded on the assignment
sheets. All papers turned in without a name will not be graded.
It is the student’s responsibility to come to me and get any assignment
missed due to absence from class. If extra help is needed, tutorials
are at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday-Friday.
