ART:

Art 1:  This course emphasizes fundamental two dimensional (drawing, painting, etc.) techniques and concepts.  Design, perception, appreciation and history are also included.  Students have the opportunity to work with charcoal, pastels, watercolor, pencil, ink, acrylic, markers, scratch board, and other media.

Art 2:  This course is a more advanced study of drawing and painting techniques.  A study of art history is also included.  Emphasis is placed upon art appreciation and aesthetics. 

Art 3 & 4:  This course is a continuation of the art experience begun with Art 1.  New and more challenging assignments are required of the third and fourth year art student. 

Any of these courses satisfies a fine arts credit.
