Interact?
INTERACT-
International Action:
Interact is a community service club for Wharton High School.
We are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Wharton. Our members
must complete at least 25 hours of community service. There
are many options for these hours. We assist the Rotary Club of
Wharton in their community service endeavors, help SHARE collect and
distribute clothing and food, tutor at the Boys and Girls Club of
Wharton, participate in the HEB scavenger hunt during Thanksgiving,
and distribute turkey dinners to the less fortunate. Each year
we have one community service project and one international
project. Participation in these two projects in
mandatory. At the end of the year we have an awards banquet
and install new officers. This is free to all members who have
25 hours of service and 60% attendance at club meetings. Come
join us! We are the best that Wharton High School has to
offer!
