The students at Sivells Elementary come to Physical Education everyday. PE at Sivells is more than just playtime. The students learn how to count their heart rate, nutrition, exercise, and many other fun activities.
Each grade level has a special event each year. The Third grade will participate in a “Rollerblading Unit”. Second Grade will have a “Bicycle Road-E-O”. First grade will go to the Wharton County Special Olympics.
At the end of the school year all of the students participate in “Buddy Fun Day”. BFD is our version of field day. It involves many physical activities that the students have learned during the year as well as some new and exciting activities saved just for BFD.
