The parent of a student who becomes a victim of a violent criminal offense or who is assigned to a campus identified by TEA as persistently dangerous shall be
offered a transfer to a safe public or charter school within the district.
This request may be made as per Wharton ISD (Local) policy FDD and Texas Education Code statutes.
